I was dealing with a break-up and my mother’s death at the same time. Both were dearer to me, and they left just in two weeks. My sister holds me accountable for my mother’s death because she felt I didn’t look after her well as I was swamped in my life. My sister moved to Servette with her family after my mother’s death, and I started feeling very lonely in Geneva even though I was born here. When I read the chapter “Relationship,” I had a lot of tears in my eyes. I express sincere gratitude for reuniting with my sister every night before I go to bed and every morning when I finish my mindset practice from that day. On day twenty-two, I realized how much I was busy taking care of my mother that I almost ignored every other relationship in my life.
I learned how lonely my sister might be feeling. I had only one wish to meet her to resolve our differences. She even changed her number and didn’t give me her new address. As lockdown opened, I got a new work assignment in Servette, and I posted an ad for renting a place after I finished my thirty-one days of practice. Guess what? My sister saw that ad and called me to apologize for her behavior. My office was close to her place, so I started staying in the same building as my sister. We reunited after one and half months, and now all the grudges we had in the past are resolved. This book has shown me that the Universe always has my back, and I don’t need to fear any bad situations in my life from here onwards. I continue my mindset practice, and I will never give up on it.
